We started playing the game on week two. After introducing the concept of the cards, wellbeing cards and creative play cards we played two complementary cards. ‘Experience Nature’ and ‘Nature’s Tools’

Experience Nature

This card was about going outside and really taking the time to notice. Group members were instructed to collect objects that caught their eye, whilst making note of the world around them. We ventured across the road to an old mill, which has a fishing lake within its boundaries. It’s surprising what you can find when you look for it.

When we returned, the group set about arranging their collections, with some really lovely results. We loved seeing each person’s individual styles come through! (Pictures at the top of the post)

After that we used the items we collected and tried some mark making. There was printing with found objects, painting with juices from berries…
