It’s been a fantastic learning experience, for us and for the participants, and as always I’m sad to say goodbye to this particular group (for the time being anyway). When we started we had a basic outline;

To create a card based game called Wellbeing Dominoes, aiming to help people to improve their wellbeing through creative activities and group work.

Throughout the weeks we did group activities around wellbeing, were inspired by mixed media artwork, shared stories and learned lots of different (and fun and messy) techniques to use in creating artwork and journalling. And through all of this, little by little, the game began to take shape. A list of words was created based on the experiences of the group, and from the words sprung observations and tasks.
